The sixth International Summit on the Development of Large Casting and Forging Industry sponsored by Sinomach Heavy Equipment Group Co, a subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), was held in Deyang city, Sichuan province, on Dec 6 and 7.

 

Guests including Menghuai Wu, professor of the Chair of Simulation and Modeling of Metallurgical Processes at Montanuniversität Leoben and Steven Charles Birks, executive director at Goodwin Plc, a mechanical and refractory engineering company based in the United Kingdom, delivered keynote reports on research, the manufacturing of large castings, and technical upgrading in the industry. 

 

More than 130 entrepreneurs, representatives of government officials in Deyang city, and technical workers in the large casting and forging industry from across China attended the summit.

 

In addition, the attendees visited the exhibition center and factories of China National Erzhong Group Co during the event.
