POLYCRYSTALLINE DIAMOND COMPOSITES (PDC)
Polycrystalline Diamond Composites (PDC) is made of polycrystalline diamond layer sintered with tungsten carbide substrate. It is a superhard composite product manufactured under ultra-high temperature and pressure with complex technology and materials.
PDC cutter has high hardness wear resistance and great tenacity, widely used for making drill bits / tools for oil, gas, mining engineering and etc.
CAEC PDC cutter includes two types: Standard PDC for oil drilling and simplified PDC for coal mining.
Standard Non-Plain PDC (With Claws)
These types PDC have a higher content of diamond than standard products. The strength bonded between PDC layer and carbide also much higher than before. Without any doubt, these types would have a higher wear resistance and long life.

Simplified PDC
Simplified PDC is manufactured by different technology. It has a high efficiency but low cost, and suitable for specific applications, such as geological drilling, coal mining etc.
